Closure & Frontal

A lace closure is a piece of lace (usually swiss lace) with hair (human hair) tied onto the lace. It is used to create a sew-in with hair bundles and close off a wig install.

A lace closure typically comes in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7 inches. And it has many hair textures available, such as body wave, straight, curly, deep wave, loose wave, etc. And a lace closure is available in many different styles which include the middle part, three part, and free part. A free part closue is the most versatile.

A lace frontal is similar to a lace closure, it is a hairpiece that the lace that runs from ear to ear. 13x4 and 13x6 are the most common types of lace frontal. And it is also used with 3 bundles or 4 bundles.

With a lace frontal, you can part your hair in many ways, such as the middle part or side part. A lace closure has less lace area for styling. So it really depends on you. A lace closure is perfect if you are a beginner or someone who likes to stick to the same style every day. And a frontal is your best choice if you switch up your styles frequently and has more budget. (a lace frontal is usually more expensive than a closure)
